About Tim Young
Creative, insightful, and highly skilled, I am proud to be seen as one of the most highly respected Avid Editors in Scotland.
I have been editing for over 25 years, across many genres: from award-winning observational documentaries to docu-dramas.
Projects that I have crafted and shaped have won Scottish BAFTAs and RTS Awards.
Over the course of my career, I have edited several hundred hours of TV to the highest broadcast standards. Throughout this process, I have endeavoured to pass on my skills and knowledge to more junior colleagues, understanding that they are the future of this industry.
In 2022, I diversified into teaching, in order to give something back to the next generation of editors.
